time for a break

i had a very busy couple of weeks that just passed. now it's time to get things in order and relax some. I just registered my daughter for middle school, they grow so fast, it seems like it was yesterday that we were walking into her first day of pre-k... tomorrow i think i'll have a totally cleaning day. then time to get ready for our lil family road trip next week. Hope it goes good, three kids one van and 6 hrs driving... hope i still have my sanity after the mini vaca....

3 new cakes

Here are 3 new cakes i did this last weekend, the top is an edible image half sheet, chocolate cake, buttercream frosting, the next cake is a full sheet cake chocolate cake, strawberry filling, buttercream frosting, the last cake is an 8" chocolate cake, strawberry filling, chocolate buttercream frosting.

this was a fun one to make, the lil cake is a smash cake it was white cake with buttercream filling and buttercream frosting, chocolate buttercream border and writing, and fondant monkies. the cupcakes are 2 doz strawberry with buttercream frosting and 2 doz chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream frosting, all cupcakes are topped with fondant monkies.
